The purpose of this web site is to give the user a brief overview of the wide variety of animals on our planet. Each continent boasts wildlife that is unique. Therefore, for each continent, we have chosen one particular animal to feature. We have included pictures of the animal, a brief description of the animal's characteristics, and links to more information about that particular animal. When possible, we have included sound files so you can hear what the animal sounds like. We hope you enjoy this venture into the wild!
